- Monitoring‑Well Network Design and Installation: Oversee borehole logging, well installation, well development, and QA/QC protocols for new groundwater monitoring infrastructure.
- Aquifer Testing Interpreted With Actionable Decisions: Lead slug, slug, packer, and aquifer tests and translate results into decisions affecting groundwater‑surface interactions, baseline conditions, and design‑input recommendations.
- Aqueous Geochemistry and Water‑Quality Trends Strategically Interpreted: Conduct temporal trend analyses, geochemical evolution interpretation, and surface water quality synthesis where relevant.
- Senior‑Level Technical Author or Reviewer of Regulator‑Ready Reports: Produce or review hydrogeology assessments, aquifer characterization, baseline hydrogeology, and permitting inputs at a senior author standard.
- Internal Capability Strength Raised: Transfer field methodology, analytical rigor, and hydrogeologic interpretation skills to emerging staff.
- Proposals and Scopes That Win on Technical Credibility: Contribute to hydrogeologic scoping and proposals that clearly quantify effort, decision risk, data value, and timeline feasibility for mining, infrastructure, and resource projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead, design, and oversee groundwater drilling programs, logging, well installations, hydraulic tests (slug and packer), and well development—ensuring data defensibility.
- Direct and interpret hydrogeologic analyses, groundwater‑surface interactions, CSM development, and aquifer test results.
- Manage, synthesize, and interpret groundwater and surface water geochemical/water‑quality datasets, producing regulator‑ready trend narratives.
- Act as senior technical author or senior reviewer for hydrogeology and water quality assessments and permitting applications.
- Build team capability through structured knowledge transfer and analytical guidance.
