- Assist in the production of financial reports, including monthly consolidated financial statements and related analysis.
- Assess internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas.
- Plan and execute internal control audits, understanding current processes and developments to strengthen internal controls.
- Assist in the preparation of annual corporate tax returns.
- Prepare monthly sales tax remittances.
- Assist in day-to-day operations within the accounting department.
- Perform other related duties assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Designated accountant, preferably a qualified CPA.
- Workable knowledge of IFRS.
- Experience in preparation of Canadian Corporate and Sales Tax returns.
- Demonstrates ability to manage projects with multiple priorities and timelines.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
