We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Distribution Manager to oversee our 1 million square-foot warehouse facilities stocked with over 40,000 shipping, industrial and packaging products.
Job DescriptionIn this role, you will guide all aspects of day-to-day warehouse operations, cultivate and empower a dedicated team of 300+ warehouse employees, and uphold exceptional levels of accuracy, safety and performance in a well-structured, high-performing warehouse environment.
Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound and supporting departments.
- Cultivate and empower a dedicated team of 300+ warehouse employees to ensure unparalleled customer service and same-day shipping.
- Maintain exceptional levels of accuracy, safety and performance in the daily functions of a well-structured, high-performing warehouse environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of hands-on management experience in 500,000+ square-foot distribution centers, including recruitment and motivation of a 300+ employee team.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience with performance metrics and warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
