Shift: Monday to Thursday (3:15pm to 1:15am)
Responsibilities
When your actions lead to success:
- Work effectively with team to ensure and maintain quality, accuracy, and productivity throughout the production shift.
- Receive and validate counts for kitting.
- Ensure packing slips / checklists are followed for each location’s kit.
- Ensure product quality and packaging is appropriate and completed in a timely manner.
- Maintain inventory of necessary supplies and consumed materials.
- Replenish stock and order necessary boxes, tapes, labels, etc.
- Validateand pull all materials listed on the job order.
- Lead and coach team members in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist and offer ideas that will help the kitting team improve their overall performance.
- Monitor the performance of employees and provide feedback for the review process.
- Identify and make recommendations regarding skills requirements.
- Support and contribute to a healthy and safe work environment by following all workplace regulations policies, and initiatives, including all first aid injuries, accidents, and workplace hazards.
Qualifications

- Excellent communication, organization, conflict management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization, as required
- “Get it done”, hands-on approach and attitude
- One to three years of kitting experience is preferred
- Lift truck experience and forklift license in good standing, is preferred
- One to three years of quality control experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience leading a small team of people
- Ability to handle working in a fast-paced environment and comply with strict deadlines
- Ability to foster and demonstrate positive team collaboration
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints/assembly drawings
- Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite
