Position: Window Treatment Design Consultant | Development Profile | Halifax
At Linen Chest, our shop-at-home solution provides homeowners with expert guidance, selling high-quality products for window fashion needs, aiming to bring pride, joy, and transformation into the home. We manage all aspects of our clients' projects from creative concept through ordering and installation.
Our growing shop-at-home category is building a team of talented designers to deliver top-quality service. Whether you're an interior designer, recent graduate, career changer, or have sales experience with an interest in design, this training and development profile could be ideal for you.
If you desire success and a great income without sacrificing quality of life, and if you're creative, organized, driven, passionate about design, sales, and building lasting customer relationships, you might be a great fit for our window covering sales team.
As a Window Covering Sales and Design Consultant, you'll work on the road, visiting customers in person and virtually, offering expert advice, and selling products using innovative digital tools. Opportunities to participate in strategic initiatives are also available.
Responsibilities:
1. Make calls and develop sales presentations for prospective customers both in-person and virtually.
2. Quickly learn new product lines and processes.
3. Plan and organize your personal sales strategy to maximize return on investment for your territory.
4. Assist customers in choosing colors, styles, textures, and functionalities of window coverings.
5. Return calls from customers and administration promptly.
6. Manage contacts, appointments, and priorities using our system.
7. Work independently and proactively to complete tasks.
8. Identify and pursue new sales opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Passion for design, sales, and building customer relationships.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, customer service, and time management skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree or coursework preferred.
- In-home or outside sales experience, preferably in custom products/services or virtual selling.
- Proficiency with computer applications and ability to learn new technology.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance.
