About the Role

Regent Strategics is seeking experienced Golang Developers to join our client team in Toronto. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-performance applications and scalable systems that shape the future of technology. You’ll be part of a collaborative environment that values innovation, precision, and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and deploy scalable applications using Go (Golang).
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Implement concurrency and parallelism using goroutines and channels.
- Troubleshoot and optimize the performance of distributed systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, maintainable code.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and best practice initiatives.
- Write and maintain automated tests using Golang’s built-in testing frameworks.

Key Skills and Qualifications

- 6+ years of professional software development experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Golang.
- Strong understanding of concurrency models, goroutines, and channels.
- Experience designing and implementing microservices.
- Proven expertise in RESTful API development.
- Proficiency with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
- Strong experience with Git for version control.
- Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks and performance optimization techniques.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and time management abilities.
