Xplore is building a world-class fibre optic and 5G wireless network to enable innovative broadband services for better every day rural living, for today and future generations.The Senior Data Analyst plays a key role in delivering advanced analytics, scalable reporting, and AI-enabled solutions. This role partners closely with business and technology teams to design robust data pipelines, define metrics, and drive insights that support strategic and operational decisions across the organization. This position is office based, 3 days per week.Key responsibilities include:Lead the design and delivery of strategic reports and dashboardsDevelop complex and optimized SQL-based data models for analytics and reportingDesign and support data pipelines using Azure Databricks technologiesEnable and support AI/ML initiatives by preparing high-quality, well-structured datasetsTranslate business problems into analytical solutions and actionable insightsPartner with data science, data engineering and business stakeholdersDefine and standardize KPIs, metrics, and data definitionsMentor junior analysts and contribute to analytics best practicesIdentify opportunities to automate reporting and improve data processesThe ideal candidate will possess:Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)5+ years of experience in analytics, data engineering, or reporting rolesAdvanced SQL expertise with strong performance optimization skillsStrong hands-on experience with Azure data products (Azure Databricks, ADF, Synapse, Azure SQL)Experience designing data models for analytics and BIStrong experience with Databricks Dashboards or similar BI toolsExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsExperience in Python, Spark, and machine learningKnowledge of data governance, security, and privacy best practicesTelecom industry experienceCondition of Employment:As a condition of employment and in order to comply with industry related data security standards, this position is subject to the successful completion of a Criminal Background Check.
