Senior Business Case Analyst – Technology Alignment

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Case Analyst to lead the development of high-quality, evidence-based business cases supporting major technology infrastructure initiatives. The ideal candidate is a strong business writer, analytical thinker, and strategic partner who can collaborate effectively with senior executives, technical teams, finance, procurement, and multi-disciplinary project groups.

Key Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

- Take ownership of assigned initiatives and drive them to successful completion.
- Provide clear, regular status reporting on risks, issues, dependencies, and milestones.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality decision-making materials for executive governance forums.
- Support planning and design activities that inform technology infrastructure business cases.
- Work closely with technical, architecture, and facility operations teams.
- Produce clear, concise documentation aligned with organizational standards.
- Assist project leaders with stakeholder engagement and business case presentations.

Specific Responsibilities

- Develop comprehensive business cases and project charters for projects of varying sizes and complexity.
- Identify financial, technical, and evidence-based inputs required to build strong recommendations.
- Lead end-to-end drafting of business cases under tight deadlines.
- Guide teams on business case structure, content expectations, and quality requirements.
- Prepare materials and facilitate discussions for governance and steering committee meetings.
- Coordinate with vendor resources where needed for business case inputs.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships while proactively identifying risks or delays.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible language for non-technical audiences.
- Support project managers in documenting cost changes and rationale during project execution.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

- 6+ years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst in large enterprise environments.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience writing business cases.
- Strong exposure to structured PMO environments.
- Proven track record working closely with senior leaders and executives.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; highly detail-oriented.
- Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with finance and procurement teams on business case development.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and consultation facilitation capabilities.
- Ability to challenge expert input professionally and provide constructive feedback.
- Advanced proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Visio, and MS Project.
- Solid analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-Have

- Experience with Clinical Information Systems.
- Previous consulting or agency experience supporting large transformation initiatives.
