Objective: The primary objective of the role will be to manage the budget, strategy, and business performance of the investment management team, maximizing profitability.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage the strategy and business performance of the office.
2. Build a 'bottom-up' budget for the Investment Managers.
3. Implement the reward structure for each member of the Investment Management team.
4. Coordinate new business and client maintenance activities.
Qualifications: The team will comprise a range of investment professionals including Investment Managers, Financial Planning, Advisory Stockbrokers, Business Development Managers, and Support Staff. As an Approved Person, you will hold qualifications from recognized bodies such as CFA, CISI, or SII and be qualified to a minimum of Level 4. You will actively manage client portfolios and drive the firm's 'TCF' scheme.
A successful applicant will be able to negotiate a basic salary up to 170,000 CAD plus benefits and bonus, demonstrating the capabilities of a successful Investment Manager. The appointed Head of Office will receive full support and report into Senior Management within the business.
