We’re currently looking for an intermediate Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team, serving the largest automotive product suite in Canada.

- Working alongside some very talented and dedicated individuals, you will be part of a cross-functional agile team that contributes to AutoSync’s digital platform by tailor-fitting it to corporate client's needs.

- End to end participation in the implementation of robust, high-quality solutions tailored for OEM clients with a strong sense of accountability, and ensuring on-schedule delivery of work aligned with business requirements.

- Acting as an advocate for ownership & highest code quality, as well as contributing to the health of the infrastructure.

- Raising the bar and elevating the team by sharing knowledge and best practices, while always seeking improvements and facilitating progress.

What You Bring To The Table:

- A mindset aligned with a “you-build-it-you-run-it” approach — comfortable owning features across development, infrastructure, testing, deployment and ongoing reliability.

- A natural inclination to see the bigger picture — understanding how your work fits into the broader product and how it impacts end users.

- Confidence working across the stack, comfortable moving between backend and frontend as the problem requires.

- A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills — you're comfortable engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.

- A thoughtful approach to building — balancing speed and pragmatism with care for long‑term maintainability and quality.

- Comfort with taking a feature or improvement from idea to implementation, validation, and deployment.

- Experience estimating, planning, and translating business requirements into well-scoped technical work.

- An interest in new technologies, patterns, and tools — especially those that enhance developer productivity or product impact, ie. AI.

- Bonus: familiarity with how car shoppers experience the buying journey, and how software can enhance that process.

Must Have Experience:

- 4+ years developing reliable, highly available and scalable software.

- Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns.

- Firm grasp of clean code principles and coding standards.

- Strong proficiency with backend development (Typescript/Node.js, Python).

- Hands on experience in Django.

- Experience implementing high throughput, robust, mission-critical APIs.

- Good knowledge of SQL & NoSQL datastores (Postgres, Redis).

- Strong proficiency with frontend development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/Typescript).

- Strong proficiency with Vue.js or other similar frameworks.

- Knowledge of modern cloud infrastructures and tools, such as AWS and Docker.

- Experience with AI tooling such as Copilot.

- Proficiency with version control systems such as Git/GitHub.

- Experience working within a formal CI/CD pipeline (we focus on GitHub Actions).

- Experience with logging, monitoring and alerting services like Datadog.

- Solid approach to testing and ensuring quality of code of backend and frontend.
