Role and Facility Information
A clinic in the Downtown Eastside is looking to grow their team. They are a community health centre that is supported by 2 nurse practitioners and other allied health. The clinic has 9 physicians and conducts appointments both virtually and in person. This centre provides full-service primary care to clients who reside in the community and have complex medical, mental health, and addictions issues and who struggle to access care in the fee-for-service system.
EMR: Profile (IntraHealth)
Allied Health: 2 Nurse Practitioners, clerical support assistants, nursing support, social work services, counsellors, psychiatry services, mental health nursing/social work staff, CLW/outreach workers, on-site pharmacy, HIV pharmacy support, clinical pharmacy support, in-site dietician and respiratory therapist, financial liaison worker, clinical resource nurse, embedded HIV programming and outreach program, on-site OAT program, indigenous elder support, women's night programs.
Parking/Bike/Transit information: Easily accessible by transit, street parking is available.
Remuneration: APP $172.60/hr.
Hours: Monday, Wednesday-Sunday 8:30am-6:30pm, Tuesdays 8:30am-8:30pm.
Other relevant information: There is shared on-call/weekend and stat coverage responsibility with the VCH DTES Network CHCs of 1-2 weeks per year, 1 statutory holiday per year, and 5 weekend days per year.
