Job Description:

The Field Service Representative plays a critical role in providing exceptional on-site support to our organization's customers. Key responsibilities include supporting installation, corrective maintenance, preventative maintenance, removals, and other necessary tasks, as well as providing after-hours phone support and holiday/weekend on-site and phone assistance.

To be successful in this position, candidates must reside in the Edmonton, AB area or surrounding regions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Action technical service bulletins on assigned instruments according to company guidelines and within specified timelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of car stock inventory, test equipment, tools, and technical data.
  • Complete required service documentation in a timely manner.
  • Display sound judgment and maturity in time management and expense control.
  • Report quality control and technical issues to the appropriate support center and manager.
  • Meet travel needs based on business requirements and be highly mobile with the ability to travel outside of the area on short notice.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma completed.
  • Minimum 3 years of corporate experience in a Field Service capacity.
  • Proficiency in English (read, write, speak) and ability to apply a disciplined troubleshooting methodology when interacting with customers on complex technical issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, solid organizational/prioritization skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding service.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing business environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic team environment and able to work independently and collaboratively as needed.
