You will be at the forefront of helping our customers integrate our diverse suite of software products into their existing technology ecosystems. You will play a crucial role in leveraging our new platform, which facilitates connectivity through APIs to build powerful workflows and connect with third-party, including on-premises, software.

You'll act as a key liaison, translating complex customer needs into clear, actionable technical solutions. This requires not only deep technical expertise but also exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Duties and responsibilities

- Lead the architectural design and development of complex, enterprise-level solutions leveraging our new integration platform, existing product suite, and third-party technologies.

- Translate high-level business requirements and customer challenges into detailed technical architectures, including data flow diagrams, system integrations, and infrastructure requirements.

- Develop and maintain solution blueprints, reference architectures, and best practices for our integrated solutions.

- Develop detailed implementation plans that align with the customer's governance, data policies, IT security protocols, and data residency regulations.

- Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers and prospects during the pre-sales process.

- Conduct deep-dive technical discovery sessions to understand customer environments, pain points, and business goals.

- Create and deliver compelling technical presentations and demonstrations that highlight the value of our integrated solutions.

- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and present solution proposals and statements of work (SOWs).

Cross-Functional Leadership

- Partner with product management and engineering to provide feedback from the field, influencing the product roadmap for both the platform and our core products.

- Work with professional services to ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales to implementation, providing guidance and support as needed.

- Mentor and guide junior architects, technical consultants, and other team members on architectural principles and solution design.

Industry & Technology Expertise

- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in enterprise architecture, SaaS, and API-led integration.

- Provide thought leadership internally and externally through white papers, blog posts, and conference presentations.

External Responsibilities

- Serve as the primary technical expert for customers, demonstrating a deep understanding of our software products and how they can be used to solve real-world problems.

- Conduct technical discovery sessions with a diverse group of customer stakeholders to gather detailed requirements and understand their strategic goals.

- Design and present tailored solution architectures that leverage our platform's APIs and potential third-party integrations, ensuring alignment with the customer's technical environment and business objectives.

- Develop comprehensive implementation plans that address customer security, governance, and data residency policies, providing clear roadmaps for successful project delivery.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with customer IT personnel, data managers, developers, and executives to foster trust and ensure long-term partnership success.

- Stay current with industry trends and competitor solutions to provide innovative and effective recommendations to customers.

Internal Responsibilities

- Collaborate with the sales and account management teams to provide technical guidance and support throughout the sales cycle.

- Communicate customer feedback and new requirements to the product management team to influence the product roadmap and drive future development.

- Work with the marketing team to develop technical content, case studies, and presentations that highlight successful customer solutions.

- Act as a bridge between customer-facing teams and product teams, ensuring a cohesive and well-informed approach to product development and customer support.

- Advocate for customer needs within the organization, bringing a deep understanding of external challenges and opportunities to internal discussions.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

- 10+ years of experience in enterprise software, with at least 5 years in a Solutions Architect or similar role.

- Strong understanding of API design principles (REST, GraphQL) and integration platforms (e.g., Mulesoft, Boomi, TIBCO, or custom-built platforms).

- Experience with a variety of technologies and platforms, including SQL and NoSQL databases; security protocols (OAuth, SAML, JWT).

- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think strategically and tactically.

- Ability to travel as required to meet with customers and attend industry events.
