Department Overview:

At TD Canada Trust, we are the frontline of TD Bank. At the branch, we understand customer needs and identify opportunities to promote products and services to refer customers to the appropriate team member or internal Bank partner, while ensuring a positive customer experience.

In this role, you are expected to:

1. Play a key role in advising customers of high-level financial solutions from a range of available investment and credit banking solutions.
2. Engage with customers and create positive experiences to retain and deepen relationships.
3. Increase customer financial confidence by providing personalized financial advice, answering customer questions, and addressing their concerns.
4. Act as a point of contact for the frontline staff in handling customer problems.
5. Maintain professional space in common areas as per marketing and regulatory guidelines.
6. Work closely with existing and prospective customers to provide financial reviews, discuss portfolio updates and suggest additional personalized solutions based on their financial goals.
7. Stay knowledgeable about emerging issues, evolving regulations and industry codes of conduct.
8. Strive to achieve and improve service level agreements and productivity targets.
9. Ensure documents are prepared consistent with relevant regulations and in a way properly reflecting business intentions.
10. Participate fully as a team member, help build a positive and diverse work environment, and address communication issues efficiently.

Job Requirements:

1. High school diploma and/or 1 year of relevant experience.
2. Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree in related field is an asset.
3. Completion of IFIC or equivalent required.
4. CFSA must be completed within 12 months, if hired.
5. Real estate secured lending and/or investment experience an asset.
6. Sound knowledge of advanced investing and credit processes, banking solutions and concepts.
7. Proficiency in software tools including MS Office, and internet applications.
8. Tactful communicator able to exchange ideas and customer information in a concise and logical way.
9. A self-initiator with strong organizational, planning and time management skills.
