This job will lead you to build lasting relationships with customers and collaborate on developing business markets. You will have the chance to evolve in an organization where collaboration and customer satisfaction are the core of our business. We are offering a key position for an exceptionally customer-centric individual

As front line customer service in our retail stores, you will have the opportunity to:

- Listen actively to customers to advise them on products, prices and availability in order to satisfy their needs. Answer technical questions.
- Receive and process customer orders (phone, email, fax, etc).
- Prepare quotations and standard tender requests.
- Provide support to the local account executives for back-office activities.
- Perform phone "cold-calls" for network customers and "blitz" in some market segments.
- Conduct post-sales follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Organize the display of products in the store.
- Identify and respect our commitment to our customers and ensure that deliveries are made on time.
- Process and confirm delivery slips.
- Communicate with the logistics team to ensure cylinder replenishing.
- Use your welding knowledge and experience to deliver products to our customers, and help them find the right supplies for their projects and business needs.
- Learn new computer systems, enabling you to give accurate information, pricing, and quotes for our customers.
- Learn how to track orders/cylinders and expand your knowledge in logistics.
- Plan routes for delivery and follow ALC's safety policies diligently.
- Work in a clean and organized environment by maintaining our product displays.
- Get to know our customer base both on the front line and making deliveries, learn about our products, and get mentoring from our Outside Sales Team and Managers to grow your advancement opportunities
- Cylinder and hardgoods delivery.

Are you a MATCH?

- 2 to 5 years of industry experience, customer service or sales of welding or industrial products.
- Knowledge of welding processes and products is an asset but not mandatory.
- Good knowledge of computer systems and Google Suite.
- Secondary diploma.
- Class 5 license, clean driver's abstract.
- A positive attitude and customer service focus.
- Forklift experience would be an asset as well.
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
