Our Calgary client is in the insurance industry and they are looking for a dependable and self-motivated Bookkeeper to assist in managing the day to day operations in their growing team. If you love numbers, organizing and want to share your financial acumen with the company – read on

Responsibilities:

1. Full cycle bookkeeping.
2. Preparation of financial statements.
3. Assist with quarterly and year end close.
4. Invoicing and billing.
5. File monthly/quarterly GST returns and other government submissions (PST, WCB, etc.)
6. Additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

1. 3+ years' experience working in full cycle bookkeeping.
2. Designation or Diploma in Bookkeeping would be well regarded.
3. Advanced Excel and QuickBooks Online skills.
4. Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
5. Must be flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
6. A self-starter, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
