Rootstock Architecture Inc. is a growing Architectural Studio registered in Alberta and British Columbia. We currently specialize in multi-family, high-end single family and commercial/professional projects. As we grow, we are looking to expand into the entertainment and hospitality industry. The Position:
Our ideal candidate would be self-driven, works well in a flexible work environment, and is a team player. You should be excited about building technologies, technical detailing, specification development, sustainability and comfortable with managing a project and consultant coordination. Revit experience required, CAD and Sketchup experience an asset.

We are open to candidates with relevant experience in Alberta.

Daily Tasks and Responsibilities:

This technologist role will prepare detailed contract documents, including drawings and specifications, under direction of senior staff within a team environment. The individual must have a thorough understanding of the processes of conceptualization, design and implementation of buildings as well as the technological aspects of building design from an engineering and construction standpoint. Our studio supports and encourages participation in all project phases to enrich your current abilities and ensure that everyone receives a well-rounded experience. Qualifications + Experience:

- Architectural Technologist Diploma or equivalent
- Training in architectural technology, building technical design and construction
- Knowledge of wood-frame construction and detailing
- Strong technical knowledge and technical drawing experience with Revit, (Autocad and Sketchup experience an asset)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
