Job Description

- Lead day-to-day site operations across multiple residential and mixed-use developments

- Supervise trade contractors and site personnel, ensuring safety and productivity

- Enforce compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and internal quality standards

- Coordinate inspections with consultants, municipalities, and authorities having jurisdiction

- Manage site documentation: progress reports, deficiency logs, QA/QC checklists

- Resolve site conflicts and maintain project momentum

- Collaborate with Project Managers to monitor schedules, budgets, and scope

- Foster strong relationships with suppliers, trades, and internal teams

- Support project close-out, occupancy, and handover processes

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent should have:

- 6+ years of experience in high-rise or midrise residential construction

- Proven leadership in managing large-scale developments from excavation to occupancy

- Diploma or degree in construction management or related field (or equivalent experience)

- Advanced knowledge of construction disciplines, safety protocols, and engineering drawings

- Proficiency in construction software and MS Office

- Strong organizational, communication, and conflict-resolution skills

- Ability to travel freely between Kitchener-Waterloo and London
