This role will directly contribute to the design, implementation, and testing of electrical systems that power clean, next‑generation metallurgy. You’ll be hands‑on across both R&D and pilot‑scale operations—helping build and maintain the electrical backbone of our critical infrastructure. This is a multi‑site role based out of our Exeter, NH and Burlington, MA facilities.

- Conduct hands‑on wiring, testing, and commissioning of new equipment and control panels

- Support safety reviews and ensure electrical designs comply with relevant codes and standards (NFPA 70, NEC, etc.)

- Collaborate with process and mechanical engineers to integrate electrical systems into fully functional units

- Participate in testing of sensors, instrumentation, and control systems for real‑time process monitoring

- Maintain documentation of all electrical work including schematics, BOMs, and system settings

- Troubleshoot and repair existing electrical systems and equipment as needed across both sites

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of system reliability and scalability

Qualifications

- B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline

- 1–3 years of relevant experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or R&D environment (internship/co‑op experience welcome)

- Familiarity with low‑voltage power systems, sensors, and motor control systems

- Hands‑on experience with electrical assembly, wiring, or panel building is strongly preferred

- Proficiency with electrical design tools (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar)

- Understanding of industrial safety and compliance standards (NEC, UL, etc.)

- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams

- Strong troubleshooting skills and willingness to get hands‑on with real hardware

- Ability to split time effectively between two physical locations (Burlington and Exeter)

- Passion for building sustainable infrastructure and solving real‑world engineering challenge
