Description

The Casual Transitional Support Professional is responsible for providing clinical support to individuals with various needs. This includes reporting on clinical interventions, liaising with clinical professionals, collecting data, and implementing prescribed programs and treatments to address clinical, behavioral, and mental health needs.

Skill Requirements

- Educational requirement: Developmental Service Worker or apprenticeship actively in process, Child and Youth Care Diploma or apprenticeship actively in process, or Diploma or Degree in a Related Human Services Field.
- Current valid G driver's license.

Experience Required

- Behavior supports.
- Supporting individuals interacting with the Criminal Justice System, dual diagnosis, autism, and FASD.
- Support for individuals who do not use words to communicate.

Ability Required

- Current NVCI, Safe Management, First Aid/CPR certifications.
- Able to perform restraints.
- Able to perform CPR.
- Able to provide personal care, which may include lifting, bending, and/or twisting.
