We expect technical expertise, but also excellent interpersonal and communication skills, whether among peer engineers on the team, or stakeholders and other leaders around the company.You’re a fit for the role of Lead Software Engineer if you have the following required qualifications:At least five years professional software development experience. Formal computer science education is a plus but is not required.Experience in technical leadership such as mentoring other engineers, breaking features down into stories, discussing competing implementations, etc. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively, and a self-starter mentality with quick learning and adaptability.Proven ability to execute both tactical and strategic solutions. **Additional preferred qualifications:**Experience with Python, large language models, machine learning applications, metrics, and agentic systems. **Hybrid Work Model:** We’ve adopted a flexible hybrid working environment (2-3 days a week in the office depending on the role) for our office-based roles while delivering a seamless experience that is digitally and physically connected.**Flexibility & Work-Life Balance:** Flex My Way is a set of supportive workplace policies designed to help manage personal and professional responsibilities, whether caring for family, giving back to the community, or finding time to refresh and reset.
