GOOD FOOD FOR THE FUN OF IT
The Maintenance Operations SCL position will assist in the management of the day to day workload for the maintenance team to ensure an effective and efficient service is delivered and departmental targets are achieved. The Maintenance Operations SCL is responsible for a team of planners and schedulers to ensure that the sites Planned Preventative and Predictive Maintenance agenda and maintenance shutdown are completed and provide leadership and coaching to the team.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Responsible for a team of maintenance planners, schedulers and storeroom to ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met for department
- Manage maintenance projects and periodic shutdowns
- Ensure scheduled planned preventative and predictive maintenance are completed to standard to minimize unplanned downtime
- Analysis of equipment/downtime issues to identify root cause and development of corrective actions
- Apply specific technical skills as required to support issues quickly to minimize downtime
- Train and provide technical expertise to the team and broader organization members where appropriate
- Manage contractors on site to ensure they meet PepsiCo safety requirements
- Conduct benchmarking studies to determine maintenance best practices
Qualifications
Skills & Knowledge Required:
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and leading for results through others
- High level of skill in coaching teams and working as a team player
- Experience in manufacturing environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of computer applications (MS Word/Excel)
- High degree of organizational skills and attention to detail
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated people and leadership skills
- Team based approach to decision making
