- Winnipeg, Manitoba (50% in office) Join a consulting engagement supporting a Winnipeg-based organization through an Internal Controls C-SOX to US SOX uplift initiative. This role focuses on control walkthroughs, design assessments, remediation support, control documentation, evidence review, and control testing. The engagement offers direct collaboration with a consulting team on a high-visibility compliance project within a technology environment. Must Haves
- 5+ years in Internal Controls within US listed SOX organizations or supporting US SOX clients in a public accounting firm
- SOX technical knowledge supporting control assessments and testing
- Proficiency with Workiva and Microsoft/google suites
- CPA designation; CIA and/or CISA considered an asset Nice to Have
- Experience with AI tools including co-pilot Responsibilities
- Complete control walkthroughs and design assessments
- Assist management with remediations
- Document controls
- Review evidence
- Provide hands‑on support to management in documenting controls and conducting walkthroughs Duration:
