Responsibilities:

- Interpret Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) drawings to determine required updates to the customer's Illustrated Parts Catalogues (IPC) for the Victoria Class Submarine.
- Support development of Notification of Deviation/Defects (NDs) against parts and systems.
- Support development and processing of Statement of Quality Requirements (SOQR) for the Victoria Class Submarine.
- Perform reviews of First Level data in support of qualification.
- Configure data change traffic during submarine work-periods, support processing of customer & company data records.
- Work within a team dedicated to ensuring qualification data for First Level systems meets schedule and quality requirement. Be able to travel in support of activities performed east or west coast for the submarines (e.g., Watch and Lockout/Tagout procedures).
- Work directly with Engineering and other internal stakeholders to ensure the required interface support is in place to meet program obligations.
- Clean-up and correct existing configuration data while supporting the structuring of data for eventual transition to modernized tool set.
- Support the configuration-management infrastructure for the Victoria Class Submarine program.

The ideal candidate brings:

- 4+ years of relevant technical experience.
- A Diploma of Technology, Certificate of Technology, or equivalent experience and training.
- Registered as an Applied Science Technologist or Certified Engineering Technologist or Certified Technician with the applicable provincial association.
- Excellent organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Experience with Defence Resource Management Information System (DRMIS), Industrial Financial Systems (IFS), System Analysis Program (SAP) or other data-management system.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Products (e.g., Word, Excel, Power-Point).
- Familiarity with formal configuration management of parts and documentation.
- Experience with qualification and safety certification of parts and systems.
- You are eligible for a Canadian Secret Security and ITAR Clearance.
