Health Sciences North (HSN) is seeking an innovative individual for the position of Social Worker Bachelors (OSP) to perform triage and screen referrals received for the Ontario Structured Psychotherapy Program, review referrals for completeness and determine eligibility in the program by completing patients’ intakes, and provide individual and/or group centered evidence-based, short-term, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and related approaches to adults who experience mild to moderate depression, anxiety, and anxiety-related conditions. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a four (4) year Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, from an accredited university and experience providing mental health and addiction screening and intake with ability to make clinical recommendations. We are looking for someone with a minimum of one (1) year experience in triage, clinical assessment, and treatment delivery of evidence-based CBT and CPT, both individually and in groups. Candidates that possess experience with in-person and virtual care delivery, working in a community-based or outpatient setting, and utilizing evidence-based CBT treatment models with clients experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety, and anxiety related conditions are preferred.

The OSP Program provides access to free, short-term, cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) and related services. CBT is a form of talk therapy that teaches coping skills and techniques to help you change the way you feel, think and act.
