We’re looking for a dependable and hardworking Van Driver to join our team at Lords Builders Merchants in Kings Langley.
If you take pride in doing a great job, enjoy being on the road, and like working with customers, this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a friendly, professional team that keeps local building projects moving.
You’ll play a key role in our branch operation—loading safely, delivering building materials in a 3.5t flatbed vehicle and representing Lords with professionalism and great service on every job.
What we’re looking for
- A valid UK driver’s licence and a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, ideally in multi-drop routes across London or the Home Counties
- Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting
- A good understanding of health & safety and load security
- Knowledge of building materials is an advantage
- A positive, “can-do” attitude and strong communication skills
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- The right to work in the UK
Hours: 7am-5pm Mon-Fri, 7am-12pm alternate Saturdays
