Are you an experienced CRM Software Developer with expertise in Microsoft Dynamics (2016 & D365), C#, .NET Framework, and SQL? Our client seeks a Software Developer - CRM to assist in the upgrade of Microsoft Dynamics 2016 to D365 while developing, configuring, and troubleshooting CRM applications and front-end portal solutions.

This role requires strong technical proficiency in ASP.NET programming, API creation, and batch file processing, along with experience in structured development methodologies and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

1. Aide in the upgrade of Microsoft Dynamics 2016 to the current supported version
2. Update and configure connections to the CRM system
3. Update and configure CRM front-end portal solutions
4. Troubleshoot and remediate technical issues for both the CRM system and the front-end portal solutions
5. Understand, configure, troubleshoot and remediate issues with batch file processing as it relates to the CRM and front-end portal solutions
6. Translate technical systems specifications into working, tested CRM applications, including developing detailed programming specifications, writing and/or generating code, compiling data-driven programs, maintaining, and conducting unit tests
7. Resolve and troubleshoot technical problems which arise during the creation, use and operation of software packages
8. Create and/or update APIs

Qualifications

Must Haves:

1. MS Dynamics (2016 and D365) - UPGRADING FROM 2016 to D365
2. C# programming
3. NET Framework - all supported versions
4. ASP .NET programming
5. SQL

General Skills:

1. Experience in programming and analysis; specialized CRM software package support at the specified experience level
2. A solid understanding of low-code/no-code platforms
3. Ability to collaborate with IT Professionals throughout the Software Development Life Cycle
4. Experience in structured methodologies for the development, design, implementation and maintenance of applications
5. Experience in design, code, test, debug and document applications
6. Experience in the use of object and/or third-generation language development tools
7. Experience in one or more programming languages
8. Experience in application design, latest design patterns, deployment and troubleshooting
9. Experience with relational and hierarchical database technologies
10. Experience in the use of information retrieval packages using query languages
11. Experience with one or more communication protocols
12. Experience eliciting and documenting information from diverse business area stakeholders and subject matter experts
13. Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills
14. A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines
15. Knowledge and experience with specific CRM software and anticipated future releases high availability solution design and implementation
16. Knowledge and experience with specific CRM enterprise architecture methodologies, design standards and tools
17. Experience with middleware and gateways
18. Expertise in specific tools for CRM software development

Desirable Skills:

1. Knowledge and experience with programming Internet-ready applications
2. Knowledge and experience in rapid application development (RAD) methodologies
3. Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies and practices
4. Experience reviewing, analyzing, and modifying product installation scripts including encoding, testing, and debugging
5. Ability to provide post-implementation support and resolve any post-implementation technical issues
6. Experience conducting design walkthrough sessions with the project team
7. Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards
8. Ability to provide user and system documentation as required
