We have obtained FDA approval and officially begun the commercial launch of the Globe® Pulsed Field System. This is a pivotal and exciting time in our journey, as we bring this life-changing technology to patients

As a member of the Field Service and Support team, you will get hands‑on experience building a world‑class field service operation and will be pivotal in developing best practices as we scale our capability and capacity. The Field Service Engineering Co‑op responsibilities will be varied and revolve around assisting with service processes and improvements in cooperation with production, clinical, and engineering teams.

Please note, this opportunity is a hybrid work arrangement, located in Burnaby, BC.

Meaningful work you will be a part of

You will engage in activities that develop practical and transferable skills such as:

- Creating and streamlining service inventory and service part processes
- Designing, mapping, and optimizing commercial field service workflows
- Anticipating needs and issues in the field to reduce the frequency of repairs and improve overall customer experience
- Assisting with content creation for new field service training program
- Overseeing the end‑to‑end development, assembly, and delivery of field service kits
- Developing and maintaining service manuals, training plans, and work instructions for service

You will be successful in this role because you possess these attributes:

- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Understanding of Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement methodologies
- Enthusiasm toward finding innovative solutions to unforeseen challenges
- A history of success working in a team setting
- A strong grasp of mathematics and data analysis tools
- Experience with process mapping and workflow documentation
- Familiarity with managing inventory and parts traceability
- Enrollment in post‑secondary program such as biomedical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or other program related to medical device design and manufacturing
- Completion of at least 2 academic years and 1 co‑op work term
