Job Opportunities

We are looking for a passionate individual excited about joining our team as a full-time permanent Lifeguard Instructor I. Under the direction of the Aquatic Supervisor, this position is responsible for lifeguarding and instructing aquatic programs, supervising part-time staff on shift, and enforcing facility use rules. The Lifeguard Instructor I also performs a variety of operational, instructional, janitorial, and minor maintenance tasks.

This position falls within the Collective Agreement between the City of Salmon Arm and CUPE 1908. The hourly pay rate for the Lifeguard Instructor I position is $31.70/hr and includes an excellent benefit package and falls under the municipal pension plan.
