Donor Engagement Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Donor Engagement Specialist to support the successful execution of all projects, programs, and events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fundraising:
    • Manage relationships and secure donations from mid-level donors under $1,000
    • Support Development Director with fundraising event planning and execution
    • Solicit small dollar sponsorships and in-kind donations
    • Participate in annual fund planning and updates
    • Coordinate fundraising appeal mailings and donor records management
  • Donor Stewardship & Cultivation:
    • Oversee donor stewardship/recognition calendar and implement ideas for recognition
    • Maintain regular communication with donors through various channels
    • Facilitate new donor welcome kits and touchpoints
    • Organize donor engagement events and activities
    • Collaborate with Senior Director of Development on donor engagement strategies
  • Communications:
    • Collect and craft success stories for dissemination
    • Develop donor-centric materials for e-newsletters, impact stories, and fundraising campaigns
    • Serve as mission ambassador and liaison between donors/volunteers and the organization
Qualifications:
  • Possess a strong passion for the mission of Guardian Angel
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
  • Have 2+ years of experience in donor relations, fundraising, or customer relationship management
  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to connect with diverse audiences
