Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Facilities/Building Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations for our manufacturing client in Englehart, ON. This is a full-time permanent role that requires relocation to the area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct the maintenance of non-operational equipment and buildings, including HVAC, hoisting/rigging, fall protection, fire protection, utilities, etc.
  • Perform maintenance work, code inspections, fire alarm checks, and capital improvement projects completed in-house.
  • Schedule and lead maintenance PMs and corrective work through MP2.
  • Set project scope, obtain bids, check contractors, and submit for approval when improvements are done with outside contractors.
  • Order supplies and ensure they are properly maintained.
  • Ensure employees/contractors complete work orders in a timely, professional, and courteous manner.
  • Maintain mill housekeeping, support EH&S initiatives, and ensure payroll is submitted accurately and in a timely fashion for the maintenance staff.
Qualifications:
  • At least 2+ years of experience leading groups of employees/contractors in industrial/manufacturing settings.
  • Experience creating, prioritizing, and actioning work orders through a CMMS.
  • A strong understanding of maintaining HVAC, hoisting/rigging, fall protection, and fire protection systems.
