Our Machinist is responsible for the custom repair and restoration of mechanical parts and components relating to machinery repair in the workshops of the Toromont Reman division.

In a typical day, YOU will:

- Demonstrate safe work and environmentally sound behaviours at all times in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policy, Programs and initiatives
- Responsible for manufacturing hydraulic cylinders
- Custom repair and restoration of mechanical parts and components relating to machinery repair
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace & performing basic maintenance functions
- Restore damaged steel and cast iron components by welding, line boring, disassembling and assembling of relative components
- Maintain an inventory of materials used for fabrication process and account to various projects based on usage

Must-haves for this role:

- A certificate of Qualification as a General Machinist
- A minimum of 2 to 5 years as a General Machinist in a custom or Tool Room environment with primary experience in machinery component repair and rebuild
