Location: Western Canada – Luxury Mountain Resort
Status: Full-Time, Permanent
About the Role
We are seeking a visionary and highly motivatedDirector of Sales & Marketing to lead the strategic repositioning of a world-renowned 5-star luxury resort located in one of Canada's most iconic national parks.
You will oversee all Sales, Revenue, Marketing, Public Relations, and Conference Services functions, with a focus on digital leadership, team development, and repositioning the resort as a premier, year-round destination for affluent travelers. This is a unique chance to blend luxury hospitality leadership with a lifestyle rooted in natural beauty, adventure, and community.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Sales, Marketing, PR, Revenue, and Conference Services teams to exceed revenue and positioning goals.
- Collaborate with regional DOSMs and external tourism/destination partners.
- Drive digital marketing strategies, content creation, social presence, and campaign alignment.
- Oversee the integration and launch of new wellness/lifestyle offerings as part of the resort's repositioning.
- Champion Transient segment growth and group sales development.
- Maintain ownership communications, reporting, budget oversight, and performance analysis.
- Ensure brand standards and elevate the property's presence across paid, owned, and earned media.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven leadership as Director or Assistant Director of Sales & Marketing in luxury hospitality.
- Resort or remote destination experience strongly preferred.
- Digital marketing and content strategy experience essential.
- Deep understanding of Group, Transient, Consortia, and Tour/FIT market segments.
- Data-driven, creative, and team-focused leader with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to live onsite or relocate to a remote mountain destination.
