Job Title: Lead Technician – Audio Visual

Our client's Audio-Visual team focuses on designing, installing, and maintaining complex AV solutions for their clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Review and implement installation plans from the Design, Sales, and Project Management Team.
  • Mentor and supervise junior Technicians.
  • Lead the installation and servicing of cabling infrastructure and audio/visual devices.
  • Install audio/visual equipment, including audio and video conferencing equipment.
  • Program and commission AV systems using Crestron Toolbox, Extron Toolbelt, and Tesira software.
  • Manage and maintain spreadsheets for programmers.
  • Organize and maintain efficiency with onsite activities and goals.
  • Coach and train other Technicians.
  • Perform administrative duties, including project updates and documentation.
Requirements:
  • Adaptability to deliver desired outcomes for clients.
  • Accountability for work from start to finish.
  • Service Orientation to exceed customer expectations.
  • Innovation to add value.
  • Technical knowledge and ability to build skill set.
Desired Skills & Experience:
  • Progressive experience installing and maintaining complex Audio-Visual systems in a commercial environment.
  • Experience working in hospitality, healthcare, and/or post-secondary industries.
  • Certifications in CTS, CTS-I, Extron AV associate, Biamp Tesira Forte, and Biamp AV Lab Crestron Professional Installation preferred.
  • Flexibility to work in various environments, from construction sites to finished corporate offices.
