The IT Project Manager - III will report to the Enterprise Technology Services PMO and be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of a global program focused on optimizing IT software costs. This role requires an experienced program manager with a proven track record in the IT sector, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive results while managing cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will be adept at strategic planning, risk management, and fostering collaboration to achieve cost-saving goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Program Leadership: Lead the end-to-end management of the global IT software cost optimization program, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic business objectives.
2. Program Planning: Develop and maintain a detailed program plan, including defining scope, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with IT, finance, procurement, and business units to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement effective solutions.
4. Monitoring & Reporting: Track program progress, identify potential risks, and take corrective actions to ensure timely and successful delivery.
5. Stakeholder Communication: Prepare and present regular status reports to senior leadership, highlighting key milestones, achievements, and areas for improvement.
6. Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging innovation, best practices, and cost management initiatives.
7. Change Management: Lead change management efforts to ensure the successful adoption and sustainability of cost optimization strategies across the organization.
8. Risk Management: Identify, analyze, and mitigate risks throughout the program lifecycle to ensure the program remains on track.

Required Skills and Qualifications

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related discipline.
2. Certifications: PMP or PMI certification is preferred.
3. Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years in program management, specifically within IT or technology-related programs.
4. Project Management Expertise: Proven experience managing large-scale, global projects or programs, particularly focused on cost optimization or efficiency improvements.
5. Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, interpret results, and make informed, data-driven decisions.
6. Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
7. Multi-tasking: Ability to manage multiple workstreams and competing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
8. Vendor & Financial Management: Familiarity with IT financial management, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
9. Problem-Solving: Strong strategic and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on achieving business objectives.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience working on global IT cost optimization programs.
2. Familiarity with IT financial reporting tools and cost management software.
