About this Location Royal Inland Hospital’s Operating Room Department has 9 theatres offering services that include: General (MIS bowels, hernias, spleen, whipples), Trauma, Ortho Trauma, Obs/Gyne (LAVH), Urology (MIS Nephrectomy, Cystectomy, PCNL’s), Ortho (total joints, sports medicine), ENT, Neuro (Craniotomies, Spinal surgery), Vascular (AAA stents, Bypass grafts, pacemakers, wound management ), Major Plastics, Dental, and Laser cases (Holmium, CO2, YAG). OR RNs are expected to work in all services. Apply TodayQualfications• Graduation from a recognized program for Practical Nurses with the full range of current licensed practical nursing competencies, and graduation from an accredited O.R. program for Licensed Practical Nurses plus one (1) year recent related experience working as a Licensed Practical Nurse in acute care, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience• Current full practicing licensure with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)• Current CPR certification required
