POSITION SUMMARY:

The Quality Assurance Associate will support production quality through the development, implementation and continuous improvement of policies, procedures and systems, that safeguard our product and champions a quality culture.

ROLE SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Interpret, build upon, and comply with company quality assurance standards

· Work with production to resolve product and process related quality issues to bring batch records to a timely and accurate closure

· Review and sign off for line clearances within the production process

· Issue work orders and labels to production and control and maintenance of the lot coding system within MPL

· Review batch product batch to ensure quality and regulatory compliance

· Aid the release procedure of products through label creation and transcription/review of MPL CoAs

· Carefully maintain complaint and nonconformance processing through records and tracking systems, including root cause and corrective actions

· Document quality assurance activities with internal reporting and audits

· Develop new standards for production and design, with improvements as needed, and create testing protocols for implementation across all service lines

· Identify training needs and act to ensure compliance

· Plan, execute, and oversee inspection and testing of incoming and outgoing product to confirm quality conformance to specifications and quality deliverables

· Monitor risk-management procedures, and maintain and analyze problem logs to identify and report recurring issues to management and product development

· Maintenance of processes and procedures, to ensure product quality is within acceptable specifications

· Review and update batch records, logbooks and various SOPs

· Aid Quality Control when required for production needs

· Work as part of the QA team promoting a quality culture within the company

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree in science related field
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools
- Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of testing best practices and procedures
