We’re currently seeking an experienced Guidewire Integration Developer to support our client, a major Canadian insurance provider, in their digital modernization program. This engagement focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining integration components within Guidewire InsuranceSuite to enable enterprise-scale transformation.

LOCATION & DURATION

- Location: Remote – periodic visits onsite, aligned with Saskatchewan (CST) business hours

- Start Date: November 24, 2025

- Duration: 12 months, with potential for extension

- Department: Digital and Information Services – Core Insurance Delivery

As a Guidewire Integration Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and supporting integrations between InsuranceSuite applications and external systems. You’ll work collaboratively with solution architects, developers, and QA analysts to deliver robust, scalable solutions that align with the client’s modernization goals.

You will also participate in defect resolution, performance tuning, and continuous improvement of integration pipelines to ensure reliability, maintainability, and high system performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop and maintain integrations using Guidewire APIs, Gosu, Java, and messaging frameworks (SOAP/REST).

- Implement batch processes, event messaging, and plugin-based integrations with internal and external systems.

- Configure and extend the Guidewire data model, including PCFs, product models, and underwriting rules.

- Collaborate with business and technical teams to analyze requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver high-quality solutions.

- Participate in CI/CD processes and automated testing to support continuous delivery.

- Ensure integration solutions adhere to architectural standards and follow best practices for performance, security, and scalability.

- Provide technical documentation, participate in peer reviews, and support post-deployment maintenance.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- 5+ years of experience as an Integration Developer in Guidewire InsuranceSuite (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter).

- Proficiency in Gosu, Java, XML, JSON, and SQL.

- Strong understanding of Guidewire APIs, SOAP/REST web services, and messaging frameworks.

- Experience with Guidewire Cloud, AWS, and modern DevOps tools (Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Docker).

- Familiarity with IntelliJ, JIRA, Confluence, and API testing frameworks.

- Experience working within Agile/Scrum and CI/CD environments.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Guidewire Ace Certification or equivalent credentials.

- Hands‑on experience implementing SurePath methodologies and best practices.

- Experience integrating third‑party insurance platforms or data providers.
