Are you ready to join a dedicated team and work in the great outdoors? Hopcott Farms is looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic Farm Hand Laborer to support our daily operations. **Key Responsibilities**:

- **Crop Production**: Assist with planting, cultivating, and harvesting various crops.
- **Livestock Care**: Feed and care for livestock, ensuring their health and well-being.
- **Comfortable Working in Grimy/Grubby Conditions**:Composting slaughterhouse waste from our onsite abattoir, pumping blood for transport, cleaning holding pens and other jobs on that nature.
- **Farm Maintenance**: Perform general farm maintenance tasks, including repairing fences, maintaining irrigation systems, and basic building repairs.
- **Equipment Operation**: Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment under supervision.
- **General Labor**: Handle a variety of manual labor tasks, such as lifting, digging, and cleaning.
- **Health Monitoring**: Help monitor the health of crops and livestock, reporting any issues promptly.
- **Safety Compliance**: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous farming or agricultural experience is required
- Previous experience working with cattle including feedings
- Strong work ethic and willingness to perform physically demanding tasks.
- Ability to operate and maintain basic farm machinery and tools.
- Basic knowledge of animal care and crop cultivation is advantageous.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when needed.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed.
- A passion for agriculture and a positive, can-do attitude.
