**Job Title**
Finance & Risk Business Integration Data Analyst
- Elicit, analyze and understand business and data requirements to develop complete business solutions.
- Build a Balance sheet view and or other reports from CORE/RFCL using centralized feeds, Risk Finance Compute Layer - an interface generate Super user views of balance sheet products.
- Analyze large data sets and summarize findings and draw conclusions, presenting actionable business recommendations in a simplified manner.
- Work closely with Agile teams to ensure proper implementation of business solutions.
- Perform data profiling using SQL to validate data analysis and identify/resolve data issues.
- Work on existing monthly quarterly BAU reporting and co-ordination of work with other groups within SDMO.
- Work with finance and risk report owner to adopt their reports to the centralized data platform.
**Must-have**
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, Management Information System or Statistics.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience with big data or data analytics solutions preferably in the financial services industry.
- Intermediate SQL skills and ability to write and understand complex SQL queries.
- Advanced Excel Skills to analyze large data sets using pivot tables and pivot reporting.
- Experience with creating and managing Tableau reporting.
- Understanding and usage of SQL keywords, data types, constraints, pivots, sub queries, logical and comparison operators, and advanced joins (inner, outer) and unions.
**Nice-to-have**
- Knowledge of CORE, OTIS, PDS, ERDL, EDW and/or EODc.
- Experience with assembling, slicing/dicing and analysis of large data set.
- Experience with Datameer or any other BI tool (DataIQ / Dremio etc.)
- Experience with financial risk management, credit risk, accounting or corporate finance.

What is the opportunity?
Reporting to the Associate Director, Finance and Risk Data - Business Integration (FRIDA - BI), the FRIDA - BI Data Analyst will be part of the data strategy, standardization and integration of data across Finance and Risk functions. The FRIDA-BI is a critical path for RBC to standardize and integrate data for various reporting and enhance the re-usability of standardized data across regions and functions utilizing CORE data. The FRIDA - BI Data Analyst is a problem solver who can act as a bridge between Business, IT and Governance teams to translate requirements, complex.
