Heidelberg Materials is seeking a responsible, safe, and dependable Loader Operator/Heavy Equipment Operator to join our local team. As a Loader Operator/Heavy Equipment Operator you will support plant needs by ensuring a safe and productive work environment. In this position, you will have the opportunity to use different skills every day as you learn the aggregate industry and fill in for vacancies in various areas of our plant.

- **What You'll Get To Do** Operate mobile equipment on plant property (loader, skid steer)
- Maintain cleanliness of plant work areas
- Stock pile material, Load material into hopper.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and procedures; assist with physical inspections of plant property/departments.

**What We Are Looking For**
- High school diploma or GED required
- Loader experience req'd
- Skid steer experience an asset
- Desire to work cooperatively as part of a productive team
- Ability to work safely, and independently without constant supervision
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Capable of learning through on the job training
- Ability to work different extended hours (shift work), holidays and/or overtime required
