Reporting to the Regional Controller, North American Copper Operations, the Financial Analyst is responsible for activities surrounding the accounting and financial reporting of capital investments for Glencore’s North American Copper operations.**More specifically, you will**:

- Actively participate in the month-end process through the following activities: - Analyze financial and operational data to generate the monthly financial reports related to capital investments;
- Support journal entries, financial documentation and account reconciliation related to assets and fixed assets. - Participate in the Department’s business improvement processes, and in projects to update project management systems;
- Prepare financial documentation required for consolidation purposes. - Ensure that compliance controls are properly implemented and that processes and standards are complied with. - Work closely with other team members and departments to achieve departmental objectives.**Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration in accounting or finance combined with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position - Hold a CPA designation or in the process of obtaining one (an asset) - Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment in a public or international business context (an asset);
- Knowledge of SAP software (an asset) - Able to demonstrate leadership skills and the ability to adapt and evolve in a dynamic environment.**Languages **:Bilingual (English and French)**What We Offer**:
