**About the Position**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Project Planning and Execution**: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, for low-rise residential building projects.
- **Team Leadership**: Lead and manage project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring clear communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
- **Budget Management**: Prepare and manage project budgets, monitoring expenses, and ensuring cost control measures are in place.
- **Schedule Management**: Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met.
- **Quality Control**: Implement and oversee quality control procedures to ensure construction meets all specified standards and requirements.
- **Risk Management**: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
- **Contract Management**: Negotiate, prepare, and manage contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants.
- **Compliance**: Ensure all construction activities comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
- **Progress Reporting**: Prepare and present detailed progress reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting any variances from the project plan and recommending corrective actions.
- **Permits and Approvals**: Obtain necessary permits and approvals from relevant authorities, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- **Project Closeout**: Oversee the project closeout process, including final inspections, punch lists, and turnover to the client.

**Qualification**

You’re a fit for the role of **Project Manager **if your background includes:

- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of project management experience in the construction industry, with a focus on low-rise residential buildings.
- PMP or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of progression from Site Superintendent to Project Manager roles.
- Proficiency in construction management software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of successfully managing large, complex projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in budget preparation, cost control, and schedule management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing project challenges.
- In-depth knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and construction industry standards.
- Possession of trades supply resources and established networks with reliable suppliers.
- High level of attention to detail and strong commitment to quality.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites in Muskoka.
- Ability to start immediately.
