**About the Position**:
The Studio Facilities Specialist assists the Facilities Manager and the studio team in the proactive, efficient and professional management of all facilities including stages, offices, parking areas and support buildings. Previous experience within the industry such as a Production Assistant will set you on a path to success with this position - you appreciate the nuances within the film industry; possess the attitude and the willingness to learn while operating independently most days.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Assists the Studio team with conducting pre and post studio inspections and client tours
- Assists Facilities Manager with the coordination of upgrades and repairs to the studios
- Acts as a primary contact for client facility issues and needs on a day-to-day basis
- Coordinates with vendors and trades about facility maintenance issues
- Continuous communication regarding stage requirements to the Facilities Manager & Studio team
- Assists with maintaining security of all facilities, including responding to facility alarms and tracking of security FOBs
- Completes minor repairs as required (painting, plumbing, door repairs, electrical) or troubleshoots a repair issue to be escalated to the appropriate vendor.

**What You’ll Need**:

- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent organization, attention to detail and record keeping skills
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize
- Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Understanding of film production sets and film location protocols is an asset.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license (Class 5) with clean driving abstract and dependable vehicle capable of driving in all weather conditions
- Able to transport a variety of tools, materials, recycling, and other items as required in said vehicle.
- Required to drive between various studio locations on a daily basis
- Valid scissor lift, boom lift and fall protection certification (training can be provided)
- Valid fork lift certification (training can be provided)
- Valid Level 1 Occupational First Aid certificate (training can be provided)
- Ability to drive larger transport vehicles such as cargo vans, pickup trucks; experience with 2-Ton to 5-Ton transport trucks would be an asset.
