Job Title: Security Guard

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security and prevent unauthorized access
- Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a visible presence
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Protect property from theft, fire, vandalism, or other hazards
- Enforce rules and regulations of the premises
- Monitor and operate CCTV cameras and other security equipment
- Conduct security checks of the premises to ensure safety
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences

Qualifications:

- Proven work experience as a Security Guard or relevant position
- Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
- Familiarity with report writing
- Excellent surveillance and observation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with people from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively
- High school diploma or equivalent required

Note: Loss prevention experience and familiarity with CCTV systems are preferred but not required.
