Overview:
We are looking for a Montreal based English speaker, capable of going to our servers to make adjustments when needed.
We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Technician to join our team. As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our employees. This is a temporary full-time position, with the possibility of a permanent full-time position after a probationary period.

**Duties**:

- Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, and peripherals
- Set up and maintain network systems, including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Provide technical support to end-users for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and other IT equipment
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner
- Assist with the administration of network infrastructure, including DNS and TCP/IP settings
- Collaborate with other IT team members to implement system upgrades and enhancements
- Ensure data security and backup procedures are followed
- Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems and procedures

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of network administration principles and practices
- Proficiency in computer networking concepts and protocols
- Experience providing technical support in a help desk or similar environment
- Familiarity with desktop support for both Windows and Mac OS platforms
- Knowledge of Windows Server operating systems
- Understanding of DNS configuration and troubleshooting
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively
- Knowledge and experience with servers
- Knowledge of SQL
- Disciplined and strong work ethic

Pay: $22.47-$27.06 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
