- Reporting to the Senior Analyst, Network Architecture, the Analyst, Network Architecture will be _
- responsible for performing network design, implementation, and enhancements for data communication _
- as well as convergence of data and voice communication. Create system documentation for all Wireless _
- and wired Local Area networks, and SD-WAN (Software Defined Wide Area) Network.**Summary of Duties**:
Design and build Wireless LAN to provide Wi-Fi access to corporate, Bring Your Own Device

and guest devices at very large scale as well as high density environment;
Create and implement architectural design of wireless LAN;
Receive requests for services related to network elements such as switches, routers, firewalls,

memorandums in accordance with Technical Services established methodology and
standards;
Perform system and operational documentation during the course of the implementation to
permit an on-going support and operation of network elements and services;
Conduct research, investigation, evaluation, test and analysis of new Wi-Fi technologies and
network security technologies and solutions which will put the Board at the leading edge of
technology deployment;
Conduct regular and periodic reviews and assessment of network security and firewall policies
to ensure that over time, changes made do not diminish the strength of security in the Network;
Analyse and respond to intrusion alerts, assist in the investigation of suspected misuse and
abuse of the Board’s network including the Internet;
Under direction of the Senior Analyst - Network Architecture, plan improvements or upgrades
to the existing network elements and services from the connectivity, capacity, security and
management perspectives in accordance with Network Services established processes and
procedures;
Conduct tests and evaluation of the proposed changes in the System Integration Lab and
implement;
Prepare reports of the findings for Wireless LAN, performance and security review for future
planning;
Perform presentation of internetworking solutions to Board client/business groups, under the
direction of the Senior Analyst - Network Architect;
Communicate and work with service providers and product vendors on new technologies or
improvements to existing or deployed technologies;

Act as Internal Consultant/Tier 3 to Field Services staff, the Client Service Desk, and to
Network Management staff in technical problem analysis and resolution;
Provide technical development and training to staff within other IT groups such as the Client
Service Desk and Field Services including development of training content and giving
presentations;
Liaise with Board client groups in the overall process of design, engineering, and refinement as
part of the overall process of service delivery;
Assist in Data Center disaster recovery operations;
Periodically will be assigned to work in other functional areas; and
Other related duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:
University Degree in Computer Science or related field with at least five years of progressively
advanced working experience in network architecture;
Technical certification achieved in CISCO or professional experience on related vendor
products or certification;
Through understanding and experience on wireless technologies including 802.11
a/b/g/n/ac/ax especially on Meraki wireless technology and platform;
Through understanding and experience on RF profile, spectrum analysis and wireless site
survey;
Strong oral, written, interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills;
Through understanding and experience on 802.1x authentication, EAP-TLS, PKI;
Thorough understanding of the trends in technological development in Wi-Fi;

security;
Proficiency in complex data networking environments as well as practical field experience in

supporting local area networks, wireless local area networks, and SD-WAN networks and the
associated routing and switching protocols;
Strong analytical, logical reasoning and problem solving skills;
Thorough understanding of system inter-operability and performance issues across multiple
- vendor multi-technology product platforms;
Thorough understanding of infrastructure security as well as its implications on sensitive

financial information;
Optimization of technical solutions using metrics such as cost, performance, and functionality;
Creative thinking when adapting new technologies and products;
Experience using software diagramming tools such as Microsoft Visio;
Knowledge of systems design and optimization;
Strong, proven ability to multitask and work under pressure and consistently
