Host/hostess

Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Host/Host. As a Host/Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience. If you have excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment, we would love to hear from you.

**Duties**:

- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome
- Seat guests and provide them with menus
- Assist in managing reservations and waiting lists
- Answer phone calls and take reservations and takeout orders
- Maintain a clean and organized host/host station
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Provide guests with information about the restaurant, including specials and promotions
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner
- Assist in coordinating special events or private parties

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations with tact and professionalism
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic phone etiquette
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual, Seasonal

**Salary**: From $16.55 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 36 per week
