Payroll Technician

**Location: Longueuil, QC—Possibility to work from home #LI-Remote**

**mdf commerce Inc **. is an international team of over 700 experts who develop a broad set of SaaS solutions to optimize and accelerate commercial interactions of our B2B and B2G customers.

We are currently looking for a Payroll Technician to join our finance team.

**What will your main responsibilities look like?**

In this role, you will be led to:

- Prepare, enter and validate payroll information, verify and distribute payroll biweekly;
- Carry out salary increases according to the procedures in place;
- Carry out the daily management of employee benefits (group insurance, Stock Purchase Plan, etc.);
- Respond to requests for information from various government authorities;
- Produce various reports, summaries and reviews related to payroll;
- Provide information to employees on payroll-related issues;
- Work in close collaboration with the Human Resources Department;
- Perform various administrative tasks related to the payroll;
- Maintain the HR database and the time and attendance system database.

- Your good knowledge of ADP payroll software;
- Your good knowledge of Quebec labor standards;
- Your excellent English and French language skills, both oral and written, due to frequent interactions with English and French speaking internal and external colleagues and partners across Canada (and elsewhere if applicable);
- Your college diploma (D.E.C.) in administration or accounting;
- Your relevant experience in the field (3 years minimum).

- Be certified by a payroll management association;
- Possess knowledge of American payroll;
- Possess knowledge of Ontario’s labor standards;
- Possess knowledge of American labor standards.
