**Role**:
The Lift Truck (Forklift Operator) Driver will assist in organizing the material before and after the galvanization process. In this role, you would ensure the right products are organized to the right location on time, and monitor material descriptions, like weight, quantity, and customer information). You may be involved in transportation, stock control, warehousing, and monitoring the flow of goods. Must perform duties with a high degree of accuracy in a manner that makes the most efficient use of time, to make accurate transactions of material movement, familiar and cognizant of safety guidelines throughout the company.
**Key Duties & Responsibilities include**:
- **Attendance, puntuliality and proactive is a must**:
- Moves material to and from storage and production areas, loads docks & delivery vehicles by forklift, hand and other equipment.
- Verify accurately weight of material on scale to match Weight Sheet disclosed on Computer Shop
- Oversee and coordinate with where the location of the material is accurate and review assigned to material
- Receives written or oral instructions for work assignments, determines applicable material and equipment needs.
- Perform general physical activities in order to load, unload, sort and move shipments by hand or using material handling equipment
- Examine shipment contents and compare with records packing slip to verify quantities of shipments
- Maintain shipping and receiving area along with the yard
- Complete Quality Control and Production documents as requested
- Maintain accountability for the safe and efficient operation of related equipment.
- Ensuring inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage; reporting quality variances where applicable
- Ensure all employees are working in a safe manner (PPE, inspections and safety procedures)
- After 3 months, you will obtain voucher valuable $130.00 to get a pair of new safety boots at Work Authority
- Health insurance at 3 months of employment. You will have the opportunity to choose your coverage which can be single or family coverage.
- After 6 months of employment, you will be part of the Monthly Bonus Profit program. For you to qualify to get the bonus at the end of the month, you must have an excellent attendance
- After completion of 1 year, you will be able to set up your RRSP which is 100% matchable from the company
- Wage per hour $24.88 + $0.75 Afternoon Shift Premium
- Working hours: Monday to Friday from 2pm to 10pm
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $25.39 per hour
